tti Technology Transfer and Innovation Promotion Magdeburg GmbH

The tti Technologietransfer- und Innovationsförderung Magdeburg GmbH (tti Magdeburg GmbH) was founded in 1992 by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) Magdeburg on the initiative of the state government with the support of the BMWi. By resolution of the general assembly, the task of innovation consulting was transferred to the IHK Magdeburg as a result of the proven achievements of tti Magdeburg GmbH. The shareholders are IHK Magdeburg with a share of 74% and RKW Sachsen-Anhalt GmbH with a share of 26%.

The purpose of the company is to promote economic development in the Magdeburg administrative district, which is territorially identical to the IHK chamber district, and to promote innovation and technology transfer in the state of Saxony-Anhalt as part of European projects. The tti Magdeburg GmbH employs 17 people who have been active in project management for international, national and regional projects for many years.


tti Magdeburg GmbH is a partner in the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN). Almost all projects of the enterprises with innovative and transnational requirements, which are developed in Saxony-Anhalt, are supported by the EEN. In addition, the existing and well functioning network is used for various economic activities, e.g. in close cooperation with the state ministries for agriculture and environment as well as for science and economy. There is comprehensive know-how on all European funding programs that have been successfully acquired in recent years.

As a private company for the regional development of innovations, tti Magdeburg GmbH has excellent contacts to investors and venture capitalists on the one hand and to start-ups on the other. tti Magdeburg GmbH employs engineers and graduates with a technical and scientific background. The core competence lies in the field of holistic project development, project management of development, technology and process projects of companies as well as the support of industrial settlements and technology-oriented business start-ups. An international network of research institutions, companies, investors and partners from chambers, associations, politics and administration has been established.
